Video Summary
For STEMI, NSTEMI, or unstable angina patients, episode events are captured when specific criteria are documented. Limb ischemia is selected only for acute or critical ischemia, marked by sudden loss of limb perfusion with signs like pain, pallor, pulselessness, paresthesia, or paralysis; chronic PAD alone does not qualify. Intubation is captured only if an airway event requiring intubation occurred during the stay, not for planned procedural intubation. Finally, post-transfusion hemoglobin records the last hemoglobin value after the final packed red blood cell or whole blood transfusion, including cases with or without CABG.
