Video Summary
Chest Pain MI Registry tracks care and outcomes for adults with possible acute coronary syndrome, from low-risk chest pain to myocardial infarction. Eligible patients are classified as STEMI, STEMI non-thrombotic/type 2, NSTEMI type 1, unstable angina, or low-risk chest pain. Key exclusions include certain transfers after 24 hours, NSTEMI type 2/non-thrombotic cases, scheduled elective procedures, and patients already revascularized before later admissions. Classification depends on clinical diagnosis, troponin elevation, ECG/imaging findings, and timing of STEMI relative to admission orders. If STEMI is the highest classification, it is coded first; later reinfarction is captured separately as an episode event.
