Video Summary
A 51-year-old woman with hypertension, diabetes, and coronary artery disease presents with chest pain and dyspnea. She has elevated cardiac biomarkers, undergoes coronary angiography, and receives stents to the mid-RCA and mid-LAD. The next day, a new murmur leads to TEE showing reduced EF and a perimembranous ventricular septal defect. She then has right heart catheterization and transcatheter VSD closure. She does meet registry inclusion criteria because she is an adult with a congenital heart defect undergoing a primary impact catheter-based procedure.
