Steps 1, 2, and 3 all require your diligence, dedication, teamwork, and input. To assist you, review our QII Learning Center presentation titled Registry Success Starts Here to learn about getting started as an NCDR participant, which includes directing you to all available resources. As a reminder, we have provided a list of 10 resources you should become familiar with to help you succeed. Make sure you're familiar with target values and definitions located in the Full Specifications Data Dictionary, and remember to implement teamwork to ensure all your data points are charted by medical staff and available in medical records for your abstraction. It is always beneficial to enlist physician and administrative champions to help you navigate towards quality data results. Welcome to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry. Now that you've become a registry participant, it's time to get started with your setup and orientation and begin the forward path to transforming cardiovascular care and improving heart health. The Start Here link is your first step in this process. There are three valuable steps to complete in the Start Here link. The first is to review NCDR registry program requirements on the Start Here landing page. The second is to access NCDR orientation available in links under Start Here link. Options are available for domestic participation as well as international participation. And the third is to read through the action items on this landing page for all NCDR participants. To access the NCDR registry program requirements documentation for your review, just click the blue link and you will see multiple program requirement documents are available. The Hospital Master Agreement your facility signed indicates your institution agrees to comply with the NCDR participant responsibilities and obligations outlined in the ACCF Hospital Registry Program Requirements. NCDR participant responsibilities and obligations may be updated periodically, and ACC will provide notification when the program requirements have been modified. It is a responsibility of all participants to be familiar with this content. Access NCDR orientation, which is available for domestic participation as well as international participation. Click on the appropriate selection for your facility and take the following steps. First, review the important first steps and useful information documents and videos provided. Domestic and international NCDR onboarding links are provided to help orient all new users to the NCDR registry with important first steps and useful information that includes checklists as well as informational documents and videos. Access a checklist to assist registry site managers or RSMs with registry startup items. The RSM is responsible for maintaining end-user oversight of a specific NCDR registry item, including creating staff profiles, assigning website privileges, assigning and monitoring website access, and maintaining updated information. This two-page checklist ensures the registry site manager completes all necessary actions for their site to be on the pathway to registry success. As the registry site manager, one of the many responsibilities is ensuring the information in your hospital's NCDR site profile is accurate by updating it when changes occur. The individual checklist is provided to assist with individual setup items. This concise list ensures the success of the registry user whose contributions are vital to registry success. The first item listed is to set up the individual profile, which includes providing contact information. This important step ensures ability to communicate effectively.
