Welcome to this learning activity titled Start Here. Upon completion of this four-part learning activity, the learner should be able to utilize the Registry Site Manager and individual user checklists to ensure successful registry setup, create registry resource documents, and identify the location of the 10 steps to registry success. How can the RSM ensure their information is shared for the purpose of networking? Where are the pre-recorded dynamic case scenarios located? These questions and more will be answered as we learn about essential information within the Resources link. The Resources link provides a wide variety of helpful documents, guides, frequently asked questions, educational webinars, and monthly case scenarios. The Resources link is comprised of a drop-down of multiple learning tools and trainings to guide and assist participants' data collection, data interpretation, and data quality activities. This link provides the following, QII Learning Center, Resource Documents, which will be discussed in Educational Series 3, Online FAQ, Registry Calls, Participant Directory for Networking, Participant Resource Sharing, and Technology Downloads. To locate the Quality Improvement for Institutions Learning Center, or QII Learning Center, navigate to the Resources link in the left navigation bar. The QII Learning Center is a dynamic educational resource providing participants the means to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes. The pre-recorded learning modules are free and education credits C&Es can be earned. The Select program is a drop-down which includes general courses or registry-specific learning. The user can customize learning with multiple learning programs. The QII Learning Center link also provides dynamic monthly case scenarios. These scenarios are in case study format and pre-recorded to enhance registry-specific learning. Select the hyperlink Month and Year to navigate to a pre-recorded PowerPoint presentation. To locate FAQs, navigate to the Resources link in the left navigation bar and select FAQ. The FAQ link provides a dynamic, searchable listing of frequently asked questions. Additionally, questions can be submitted directly to NCDR by selecting the Ask question. There are multiple fields that can be used to search available FAQs. Selecting Search FAQ with all search fields blank will provide the entire FAQ database with the most recently developed FAQs appearing first. To locate the Registry Calls schedule and its contents, navigate to the Resources link in the left navigation bar and select Registry Calls. Registry Calls are available for all NCDR participants and are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time unless otherwise noted.
