The purpose of this course is to provide the participant with understanding of the Cath PCI v5 dataset as well as why the dataset was developed as is, and the importance of coding correctly. This training is comprehensive, covering each section of the data collection tool/form. The recordings in this course are designed to support participants in that effort where they will:

• Identify how the v5 dataset supports metric reporting and captures patient risk.
• Code to the coding instructions and target value, while using pertinent documentation in the medical record to accomplish this.
• Be proficient in locating resource documents and use them to my advantage for coding purposes and utilize coding resources consistently and correctly.
