The purpose of the “What is a Data Quality Check? Rationale and Training” course is to provide the participant with an overview of the NCDR Data Quality Program and how that is important in the Quality Check process.  This course also provides a systematic approach to understanding the Quality Check process for all hospital-based registries.  The recordings in this course are designed to support participants in that effort where they will: 

• Successfully submit data for unpublished and published quarters weekly
• Utilize the DQR Companion Guide to assist with messages generated during the Quality Check process
• Express the importance of the DQR and how it affects their data
