Description:
This session will discuss the role and evolution of the EP Device Registry Data to understand how health systems and physicians partner with ACC to improve the quality-of-care delivery and utilize this information to assess their own performance benchmarked against national standards.  The session will also provide an overview of ICD metrics currently available and provide an update on datal collection on novel pacemakers beyond the ICD.

  • Recognize the appropriate use criteria for ICD and how  they are incorporated in quality metrics.
  • Illustrate the Appropriateness of ICD implants in the United States.
