This session will examine the key time-related challenges faced by pediatric patients when undergoing electrophysiology (EP) ablation for arrhythmias, including those associated with congenital heart disease (CHD). From pre-procedure delays to intraoperative inefficiencies, we’ll discuss factors that impact timely intervention and explore strategies to optimize workflow and improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identifying time related barriers that pediatric CHD patients experience when undergoing EP procedures.
  • Assess consistent time gaps and identify strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Discuss the impact of post-EP flat times on efficiency without compromising quality.
