An Overview of the Diabetes Collaborative Registry provides a unique, longitudinal view of the presentation, progression, management and outcomes of patients with diabetes as they receive care and treatment from multidisciplinary care teams. The purpose of this course is to provide participants and clinicians with a more in-depth understanding of the registry. This understanding will help engage the end user as we move towards the future using data registries as a tool to promote quality performance and improvement as a foundation. This understanding will also allow the end user to feel more empowered to champion the Diabetes Collaborative Registry based on their increased knowledge. These recordings in this course are designed to support participants in that effort where participants will:  

• Define the scope and impact of the registry in the outpatient setting.
• Use the registry for quality improvement and federally mandated programs.
