Video Summary
The ASC Registry categorizes procedures based on the sequence of events during a lab visit. Diagnostic Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention can be selected together, while other procedures are mutually exclusive. Diagnostic Coronary Angiography is chosen when a catheter is placed for angiography, and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention is selected when devices like stents are inserted for coronary revascularization. Generator Change is selected for replacing or upgrading existing devices, while Generator Explant is chosen when removing a generator without replacement. Initial Generator Implant is selected for the first implantation of a permanent pacemaker or ICD-CRTD during a procedure.
